About
I am a creative person who is part of Yeovil Creatives. I studied the History of Art and Architecture at the University of Reading, where I also took modules in Fine Art and Psychology. I describe myself as a lost artist and impulsive writer. Most importantly, I’m a mum of 3 children (-: I am currently undertaking a PhD at Anglia Ruskin University looking at the impact of Hyperemesis Gravidarum on mental health.

I was invited by Carolyn to read my own poem ‘Love is oceanic’ as part of her Ancient Sea project, St Mary’s Church. Stoke-Sub-Hambdon.

I was delighted to be invited to read some of my own poetry to the children as part of poetry week. ‘Love is Oceanic’ and ‘The wonder of life’.

My poetry has been on display at Yeovil Art Space in this exhibition.
Contemporary Craft exhibition, May 2024.
I displayed four poems at Guggleton Farm Arts as part of this group exhibition on the theme of reclaiming from ruins. The poems were titled: Kintsugi, Sea glass, Heritage and Ruins.

I organised a poetry evening in a local venue with two other poets and a poet/comedian compere.
